I have been doing yoga with Geny in person for over two years. Since the lockdown began, I have taken the plunge and started practicing yoga most of my weekdays with her 1/2 hour sessions at 8 am. They are a perfect way to kick-start the day and fit well into my work schedule (as do most of her classes).
Geny has adapted her classes really well to this new way of working and it’s so nice knowing that other people are doing the class alongside me, so, as well as the exercise element, there is a social element too. People often have a bit of a chat before we start, but just saying hello or namaste to each other once a day is uplifting in itself.
I also attend an afternoon session once a week and yesterday I even did some partner yoga in the garden! So there are plenty of options available.
It is, without question, helping me get through this weird, challenging period and I would recommend to anyone to give it a go, whether you have tried yoga before or not.
