The Art of Summer Wellbeing: A Yoga & Ayurveda Mini Retreat
Organised by Colfe’s Leisure Centre
Led by Geny Caloisi, Yoga Teacher & Ayurveda Consultant
A Morning Just for You
Life can easily become a cycle of responsibilities, deadlines and looking after everyone else. This mini retreat is an invitation to pause for a few hours and turn your attention back towards yourself.
During this nourishing morning, we’ll combine Yoga, Ayurveda and deep rest to help you slow down, recharge and reconnect with what your body and mind need right now. Through movement, relaxation and practical Ayurvedic wisdom, you’ll discover how the season influences your body and mind, and learn simple ways to support your wellbeing at home.
Ayurveda, often called the sister science of Yoga, teaches us how to live in harmony with the seasons. As we move through the height of summer, we can experience signs of excess heat and intensity, such as irritability, restlessness, poor sleep, inflammation or feeling overwhelmed. Through movement, breathwork, seasonal wisdom and rest, we’ll explore simple ways to create more balance and ease.
Whether you’re completely new to Ayurveda or already curious about holistic health, you’ll leave feeling refreshed, informed and equipped with practical tools for the weeks ahead.
No previous Yoga experience is necessary.
