The Tuesday evening yoga class is held at the Beardwood Studio, with warm wooden floors and overlooking the School’s green grounds.
With 75 minutes to practice yoga, we get a chance to have a full body work out and a deep relaxation.
There is plenty of car park space.

Join Geny in a four weeks introduction to the basics of Yoga, and then if you’d like to- simply stay and join our regular class straight afterwards!

Have a great end of the weekend or an even better start of your week with this energising and at the same time relaxing Yoga class on Sunday afternoon.
We practise Ashtanga Yoga with a focus on breathing, chakras balancing, flexibility and strength.
Close your weekend with meditation at Virgin Active.
On Sundays at 18:35 pm we get out bolsters, blankets and comfy mats for 45′ of blissful meditation.
The practice is based around Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the “going-to-sleep” stage. This is the state in which miracles happen. It’s then that we manage to heal our bodies, minds and spirits.
This independent Yoga class will combine the movement and breath, giving yogis the opportunity to explore their body, mind and spirit connection.
My Yoga teaching style blends traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha yoga with Iyengar alignment techniques. I also teach Pranayama, Yin Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness. I place a strong focus on physical adjustments to improve alignment through a precise yet dynamic practice.
