Embracing Spring: A Walking Meditation for the Equinox

I love celebrating the change of seasons, following nature’s rhythms as Ayurveda suggests. The Spring Equinox is a time of balance—a moment when day and night are equal, marking the shift from winter’s stillness to spring’s awakening. Nature is waking up, and so are we.
In Ayurveda, spring is linked to Kapha dosha, a combination of earth and water. After winter’s heaviness, Kapha can make us feel sluggish, congested, or weighed down. Spring invites us to lighten up, embrace movement, and refresh our energy. Gentle activity, fresh air, and mindful presence help us transition into this new season with clarity and vitality.
Join Me for a Walking Meditation

The Power of Community in Seasonal Transitions
As the seasons change, so do we. The shift from winter to spring is more than just a change in temperature—it’s an invitation to renew, release, and realign. In Ayurveda, we are encouraged to live in harmony with nature’s rhythms, adapting our habits, movement, and mindset to match the season’s energy.
But transitions, even natural ones, can feel unsteady. This is why coming together as a community to mark these moments is so powerful. When we gather with like-minded people, we create space for shared intention, mutual support, and deeper awareness. We remind each other to slow down, to reflect, and to move forward with purpose.
A walking meditation is a simple yet profound way to do this. Walking together, in silence, with nature surrounding us, we cultivate presence within ourselves and as a collective. We breathe in the fresh energy of spring, shedding the stagnation of winter, and step forward into the new season with clarity.
Celebrating Equinox isn’t just about honouring nature’s cycle—it’s about honouring our own. And when we do it together, the experience becomes richer, more grounded, and more meaningful.
Let’s welcome this season as a community, embracing the lightness, movement, and connection that spring invites.
Spring is a time for new energy, movement, and renewal.
Let’s step into the season together with presence and intention.
See you there! 🌿
