Envisioning 2021 workshop

Have you ever wondered why all cultures have stories and myths?

From childhood, and throughout our lives, we always understand things better when we learn them through a story, rather than thorough just explanations. Stories are much richer and non-linear. They spark our imagination and can give us a multidimensional message.

If this wasn’t the case, Hollywood would be out of business!

For 2021 we have permission to dream big! I am inviting you all to create your own story.

We can make dreams come true and for that, we need a clear image of what will that look like. Describe it with words, objects, images, aromas… symbols! This is why we need a vision board.

This is part of the very special journey we came to take in this life. We have a body that allows us movement and the enjoyment of what’s around us. We have a mind and consciousness that allows us to learn and study, not only intellectual subjects, but also our selves. And what is at the end of this journey? If we play our cards right, we will find bliss.

Do you have the courage to look within and find you bliss?

Your journey starts here. Get your ticket and pack your bags light as all that you need you already have within you.

About the workshop

Yoga teacher Kelly McGuinness is well-versed on creating vision boards and will guide us to create our own.

Geny will host the meeting and guide you on a lovely meditation.

Yes, there will be some simple yoga practice too!

Make sure to collect a few cuttings and photos as well as post-it notes.

What you create at the start of the year can also grow with you as the year evolves.

What is a vision board?

A vision board is a visual representation of your goals.

What do I need to have?

  • A board – such as a pound shop canvas. You can also use corkboard or a notice board will work too. Or some big sheet of paper!
  • Glue, scissors, magazines.
  • Photographs.
  • Positive quotes/ words.
  • Felt pens.

Why should I do it?

According to psychology studies, mental practices like visualisation can increase motivation, confidence, and even motor performance.

Creating a sacred space that displays what you want does help to make it a reality and brings it to life. What we focus on expands.

What if I don’t know what to do?

It is your vision board, so there is no wrong or right. The fact that you participate in the workshop will already get you started int he right path.

It is about setting your intentions, taking a moment to check in with yourself.

What will I need to do with the board?

You can place your board where you will see it, and visualise it. You can even start ticking the things that come true!
