Find Your Flow: Wednesday Yoga with Geny at Grove Park Library

As the day winds down and the week picks up speed, there’s a special kind of magic in stepping onto your yoga mat. A moment to breathe, stretch, and reconnect. That’s exactly what Yoga with Geny – Find Your Flow is all about—an invitation to pause, move with intention, and cultivate strength and ease in your body and mind.
Starting from February 5th, we’ll be gathering every Wednesday from 18:00 to 19:00 at Grove Park Library, a spacious, welcoming, and warm venue that transforms beautifully into our yoga space. The library’s cleverly arranged bookcases are on wheels, meaning we can clear ample space for movement while still feeling surrounded by the quiet wisdom of books. Arrive a little early, and we can even share a hot drink before class, giving us a moment to settle in before flowing together.
What to Expect
Over the next few weeks, we’ll work on a flowing sequence—a graceful yet powerful practice that builds stamina, flexibility, and inner stillness. Each class will gently layer movements, helping you develop a rhythm that feels natural, strong, and connected.
- Strength & Stamina – Through steady movement and mindful holds, you’ll build endurance in your muscles and find a new level of control in your practice.
- Flexibility & Fluidity – With each breath and stretch, we’ll release built-up tension, easily opening the body rather than forcefully.
- Calm & Clarity – Yoga is more than movement; it’s a way to reset the mind, slow down the stress cycle, and step into a place of calm presence.
What to Bring
To make the most of your practice, please bring:
✔ Comfy clothes and your own yoga mat (if you don’t have one, let us know, and we’ll lend you one!)
✔ Water bottle to stay hydrated
✔ Yoga belt and blocks (if you have them) to support your practice
Why Midweek Yoga?
Wednesdays are that tricky middle ground—the weekend feels far away, and the week’s demands are in full swing.
This class is your midweek reset, helping you shake off stress, boost your energy, and re-centre yourself before the weekend rush.

Come Move, Breathe, and Flow
Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, this class is designed for all levels. No pressure, no competition—just a welcoming space to move, breathe, and explore what feels good for your body.
These classes will be arranged in blocks of four, where we’ll focus on learning a particular flowing sequence. By repeating and refining the movements each week, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the yoga poses, how your body moves within them, and how to connect breath with motion. This structured approach will build confidence in your practice, enhance body awareness, and support your ability to continue yoga beyond the class—whether at home or in future sessions.
