Why meditate?
There are a few ingredients that we can put in place to make sure we lead a healthy and happy life. You can practice yoga, Pranayama (breathing exercises), take herbs and massages to balance your body and you can mediate.
Deepak Chopra, a spiritual guru of our time says: “You should meditate every day for at least 20 minutes. If you think you have no time to meditate, then you should meditate for an hour.”
In our hyped-up culture, who doesn’t want to do more faster? But you may also crave a break from your overstimulated mind and aspire to a calmer, more intuitive, and present state. Slowing down brings you back to the here and now.
Many meditation techniques use one point as an object of concentration. Whether it’s the breath, a mantra, sensations, the thought of love, or awareness itself, the object of concentration can be a doorway to the moment. But sometimes this single focus is too subtle for the mind to track easily.
You can meditate cross legged or do a slow walking meditation.
Find the magic of meditation and see your mind shine with focus and reduced stress.
